I totally agree that this was a great show. I look forward to the show every week and am a little sadden when it’s not on. I guess that’s why there is YouTube.

ocean, were you on pike or pipe lake? got a trip coming up here to pipe lake (johnstown/ comstock) and was wondering the conditions on that?

I use them all the time as well. probably the first Le lure I try on any new lake that I have never fished. I usually use the gold one during the day and then the red glow at night.

my buddy and i fished this devils this last weekend. it was probably our most successful ice trip there and well worth the six hours drive there and 6 hours drive back.

first spot and first day, got a couple of smaller walleyes and 5 smaller northerns. second spot and second day, we hit the jack pot. nothing big, but there were numbers. probably 20 or so eyes and 5 or so jumbo perch. went to the second spot again on day three and did even better. the numbers were there, but there wasn’t much for trophy size. it was enough for both of us to call the boss and stayed an other night. overall, excellent trip and looking forward to doing it again later this winter season.

well I am out on Devils now and am probably fishing the same spots that you guys were. tons of little eyes with limited of 15 – 22. love this lake and well worth the six hours drive from the cities.

well I am heading up there tomorrow so hopefully I have as much luck as you guys did.

what’s the current condition. the warm spell this weekend and yesterday didn’t mess things up did it? what areas of the lake are you guys fishing?

do you know if there been people out in the northern parts of six mile just south of channel a? that seems to be the first freeze and first fish-able spot.

sweet!!! thanks James. wanted to go up there this weekend but my buddy wanted to go to the ice show instead. figure I go the ice show and wait for some good posting of ice conditions. don’t want to drive six hours and not get to fish my favorite pond.

wanted to order one from gander with the cyber deal going on but it wouldn’t take off the 100 for buying over 500 so I just cancelled it. would have been agreat deal getting the lx6 for 500.

too funny but can totally understand. haven’t caught a walleye in wi in years. supposedly there are walleyes in the lake that my buddy’s cabin is in but have never caught one.
