    In answer to your question, yes, some of them were bass. We do fish for large and small mouth bass, before the storm we were fishing for bass and were catching them using all methods. This morning, since we had a back up of night crawlers in our fridge we decided to still fish inside the islands to catch the 7 species which were: small bass, blue gill, perch, sheepshead, catfish, red horse sucker and one white bass. We’ll be back on the bass next week.

    Now is time to go.Algoma is a good place,Went last week of june got 50 lbs, of fillets.By end of Aug. fish get bigger but get darker and arn’t as good to eat as they begin to enter all river areas.

    hi,After doing 30 trips on the river this year I would pick 9 as easier to get around in right now.Goose island is the most frustratng place to get around in until you know it on 9.

    hi, POOL 9 is easier to figure out around BLACKHAWK Park.,six feet deep off the ramp to main channel.POOL 8 HAS MORE SHALLOW WATER TO DEAL WITH.Walleyes have been hard to catch this time of year,bass wiuld be easier.
