Ice armor suits are the exact same as the striker suit without the bells and whistles. Same designer and everything.. Stick with the original..

I was always skeptical about electric augers. That is until I owned one. The last two years I ran the original Ion and will NEVER go back to gas. The ion cuts just as fast, if not faster, no mess, no smell, is super light.. Ive had it out in bitter temps and it never skipped a beat. I did have 2 batteries for mine which was always more than enough. This year I got the Ion X and I cant wait to tear through the ice with it!! 1600″ on a single battery?? Yes please..

I have the Striker predator and it is the perfect fit for my fishing style. Perfect for the run and gun, plenty of breathing so none of them cold sweats. If you tend to get cold easier, then Id suggest the Climate. But I can honestly say Ive never been cold in my predator suit, but also tend not to get cold too easy.

What updates would you like to see? I ran a LX9 the last 2 winters and don’t see anything that I myself would change or anything Id like to see different.

The new Ion X has the center point and the cast bottom that provides the smoothest cuts out there. 10″ will make any electric auger work, but I believe with the new adjustments of the Ion, it will make the 10″ work alot less and should cut through the ice with ease. With the new 5amp hour battery, you should be able to cut a good amount of holes as well.

There is a TON of information and video’s on youtube. Nice thing about them is you can always go back and re-watch some stuff ya might not understand. Its a very fun and addicting hobby!
