Here’s the reply from Pat Garofalo’s office (District 36B Farminington). In a way he is making the same statement as Pug. He also doesn’t come out and say that he would be completely against it.

Thanks for the email Robert. I do not have a bill to read so I cannot promise you how I will vote on this. That being said the language of the amendment allows for this spending. It doesn’t mean I will support it, but clearly it is legal.

I just bought an 1860 in June. I love the boat but it drives completely different than an aluminum boat. What I mean is if you are driving at slow speeds you need to keep the bow up or you will take waves over the front. I had it happen once and it was kind of an eye opener. Other than that it is a very smooth/dry ride.

I have a Verado 150 on mine and I’m very happy with the overall performance of the rig.

I have been lurking on IDO for a while and I wouldl ike to say hello and this is my first post

Two of my shorelander trailers came with spindle sleeves from the factory. The sleeves would only ride under the seals. Whenever I would repack the bearings I would take off the sleeves and clean them up with emery cloth and they would be good to. I wouldn’t have second thoughts about adding sleeves to the spindles
