October 8, 2009 at 1:16 am #8077161996 F-150 2wd 300 inline 6 auto. Pulls a 2006 170 Tracker Pro Guide with a 115 opti. Now that’s priorities put in order.
October 8, 2009 at 1:11 am #807712There may also be one on the front and back exhaust manifolds. So total you would have three. My 1996 has 3 so maybe it just depends on the year.
September 26, 2009 at 6:05 pm #806670I put Toyo Versados on my wifes Taurus about 3 months ago and they have been awesome. They are very quiet and I have hit 1-2 inches of standing water at 60 mph and the car continued to track straight. Although I have not ran them in the winter yet I purchased them on the good word of my father that they worked great on his Grand Prix last winter. The Versado for my size came with a 60,000 mile warranty and they were reasonably priced right around hundred bucks a tire.
August 16, 2009 at 3:02 pm #797769Do away with income tax and put a 12% sales tax on everything purchased by the end user. Now you will only be taxed on what you spend and not what you make. The gov. would have more money coming in than they would know what to do with. What do you guys think?
August 7, 2009 at 4:17 pm #796083Go check the auto dealers because I believe they can part the cash for clunkers vehicles out.
June 27, 2009 at 5:00 pm #787034Find a commercial pesticide applicator to come and spray your yard. He will have license and insurance to buy the good stuff. I have a small business and spray pesticides to control mosquitos, gnats, ticks, spiders, and other outside insects and the stuff I spray will last about a month and it’s approved by the USDA for indoor use so I am 100% sure it’s okay for the yard and kids and dogs etc. I however am not licensed to spray in Wis. or I would be happy to help you.
June 27, 2009 at 3:29 pm #787021Sunset Cove on Cass Lake is a nice place. Been going for 11 yrs now. They have an arcade, an indoor pool, small playground area and town is just 3-5 miles. Cass Lake has go carts and I believe there is also a mini golf in town. Bemidji is only a 15-20 minute drive and am sure there is plenty to do there. Wherever you choose to go have a great vacation.
May 11, 2009 at 7:41 pm #775732We stayed at Federal Dam and fished everything between North Star resort and Five mile point. The fishing on Saturday for us was consistent. We caught a lot of fish in the bottom of the slot and were only able to keep a few. Most of the day was spent using jig and shiner. Sunday morning I got up early and went out to just try trolling in the shallow area just out from the channel going to the dam. Pulling F-9’s I found out real fast that the fish were there. I caught many 20″-24″ walleyes and a limit of keepers and a added bonus of two 10lb northerns. Went back to get the rest of the group at 7:30 and went back out till about 10-10:30 and had the same bite until things started to warm up. On Sunday we probably had to release 3-4 slot fish for every fish under the slot. Now hopefully the bite is good on Cass this week as I will be there the 13-17.
May 11, 2009 at 7:05 pm #775718I can’t prove it, but my dad put one in his Ford Supercrew. He had to run premium fuel in it and says that he went from 17-18 to 20-22. Truth or not I don’t know but you would have to drive a lot of miles to get your money back after buying the programmer and then having to buy premium fuel to get the added benefits.
May 5, 2009 at 10:08 pm #774156My first opener on Leech also. We’re staying at Federal Dam campground and I have no idea where to fish but in the water. I do however have a brother inlaw going that pretty much only knows that lake so I guess my boat and partner will be playing chase to him and his partner. Good Luck to you!
May 5, 2009 at 11:47 am #773914I’ve ran Cooper, Toyo, Good Year, Nokian, Hankook, Firestone, and Kelly tires in the past. I would have to say that the Nokian tires were the most quiet, wore good, and provided good all around traction. The Toyo Proxy FZ4 I could not seem to wear that tire out but the trade off was winter traction. The other tires I listed I have primarly only purchased in snow tire versions so obviously wear and noise are going to be present and are not worthy of further comment in this forum.
May 2, 2009 at 9:09 pm #773317Been with Verizon for almost 6 years and have been very happy with all the service. Phone coverage is good-great. Last August in Canada for 8 days I called home everyday to check in and thought my bill would have connect charges on it and my bill didn’t change. I’m about to resign another 2 year contract.

April 29, 2009 at 2:33 am #772140I heard guys in their 50’s say that they could retire if their medical was covered. So to hand out a million a piece sure that should get a few people back to work. I know that it would get me back to work.
April 24, 2009 at 4:51 pm #770813I bought my 15 year old used boat from an alumacraft dealer in Faribault (Don’t know if I can list their name or not) and they treated me as though I just bought their entire inventory. I had problems the first time I had the boat on the water and they took it right in and made proper repairs and it’s been a great boat since. I also believe that they are a Yamaha outboard dealer.

Saving cost is not more important than maintaining safe shipping lanes. If done privately arming these ships won’t be half bad. Done through government programs where the government is left to be in charge then yes the expense will be great. But one thing is for certain. laying down and making excuses is BS and is the sole reason we will continue to get slapped around. The leader of the most powerful, richest, nation on earth should have been on the phone already with the leader or whomever of Somalia informing him/them that the large shadow they see is from the warning bomb sent to get their attention. And if another attack on a cargo ship occurs the bombs will completely level their pee hole of a country.
These rogues have said that the next time they take a ship with hostages from a country that retaliated they will simply kill the hostages first thing. That means the USA people! That is a declaration of war. They specifically stated “the next time…they will kill”. Seems very obvious they intend to continue hijacking ships. An act of war.
The next time a cruise ship passes by that region of the world the tour guide ought to be saying “And port side you will see a large dust bowl. Last week it was known as Somalia.”
April 10, 2009 at 11:05 pm #767517On Monday of this week people were still driving trucks out on Stewart lake which is pretty local to Two Harbors. I imagine that the ice on Kab is still pretty thick.
April 8, 2009 at 2:10 am #766598Working at a resort is a lot of fun! I myself worked at two resorts on lake Vermillion as a dock boy when I was in high school and had an absolute blast. Enjoy yourself and have a beer at the Vermillion River Tavern in Buyck for me.
