If you are only connecting those two together you do not need the Ethernet switch. You terrova I pilot link should have come with the Ethernet cable.
Do software updates if they are brand new. Update humminbird unit first then erase as card to update head unit on terrova and remote
Thank you, It looks like I will still need to buy an adapter cable to plug into the back of the HB? The “AS EC QDE” cable…does that sound correct?
December 24, 2014 at 5:09 pm #1487989I have to admit, I enjoyed this video better than most fishing shows out there! Nice job.
December 12, 2013 at 6:52 pm #1371079Purchased a new HL-8 last week. Used it on Sunday and had to pull my arm off to get it to start and then it wouldn’t run at full throttle. Came back here for suggestions and guys told me to crack the fuel cap next time, so I was going to try that……My 14yr old took it out this evening, I didn’t give him any instructions on how to use or start it (didn’t know he was going to take it) he said it started right up for him and drilled just fine Maybe he has the magic touch, but he said he really likes it!!
August 4, 2013 at 2:08 pm #118743530K on my 2011 150 Ecoboost Super Crew. 15mpg in the City and 19-20 Hwy. If I pull my 1750 Fishhawk back down to 14ish. It replaced my 5.7 Super Crew, which consistently got 12mpg no matter what. Love the Ecoboost, fun to drive, plenty of power to pull. Two friends bought the same after driving in my vehicle.

Pretty sure this is a picture of the landing in Int’l Falls not Pelland.
That picture is of Pelland, it said right on the original picture.
It does now that they updated the website. It was not tagged with the location originally.
March 26, 2013 at 10:23 pm #1156422I just had this picture sent to me from the Franz Jevne park at 5:15pm today.

March 20, 2013 at 10:16 pm #1154380I have plans to fish the 27th-30th and i am getting very nervous!
January 19, 2013 at 1:57 pm #1132570I’m on my second british lab. She is a hard worker in both the marsh and upland. She weighs 50lbs. My first lab was a traditional “american” style and came in at about 75 which was still ok for size and he was a great dog as well. I have seen those huge american style labs push 90+lbs. In my opinion just too big for the house (and for sleeping on the bed). I had one lab come from Wildrose Kennels and my most recent from Royalty British Kennels, mostly because the drive was much closer. Be ready to pony up some serious cash. Both vendors were reliable and I have no issues with either one. Both my british labs display very calm demeanors, my friends and guest always comment on how calm she is. However, I think it has a lot to do with how you raise the dog in the early stages, trust the crate method, don’t instill separation anxiety and you will end up with a polite mannered dog. My buddy has a 10 yr old british lab that is still psycho when people show up, it came from Southwind British Labs, let’s just say I don’t think it was the kennels fault after watching my kids grow up around my buddy. He would come over, get the kids all pumped up, jumping on him, wrestling, running around, and then leave with my wife and I to deal with the after math!! That’s ok, paybacks hopefully coming soon now that he is married
January 18, 2013 at 12:39 am #1132137Well…The best I have found so far is $575 with free shipping….Kicking myself for not jumping on that $549 with free shipping!!
December 28, 2012 at 12:45 am #1124563I was just going to post the same thing tonight! My bottom reading is bouncing all over the place. Also, this evening it wouldn’t show anything but zero and then randomly kick on and start working???
Anyone with suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
December 15, 2012 at 9:26 pm #1120724That sounds tempting Chris!!! For those who have never fished with Chris, I can tell you he is awesome to fish with. Relentless in putting you on fish and a great guide. Flat out my best fish have always been with Chris. He has made some very special memories for my son and I. I have to get back up to see you soon, I just have to figure out how to keep my accountant wife from detailing my fishing expenses!!!!
July 18, 2012 at 2:19 am #1085145I just got back from a week long stay on Mille Lacs with my family. My son wanted to chase smallies in the evenings. He was using a wacky Senko which they seemed to attack with little hesitation. He also picked up a 25″ eye while working the rocks in about 6-8 feet of water. His best walleye for the trip was a 28 1/8 which is bigger than Dad’s PB!!
July 10, 2012 at 4:00 am #1082508I am here right now! My Family rented a house on the lake. We are about 1/2 mile west of the Red Door. If I were to stay at a Resort, I would recommend the Red Door as well. Looks nice, nice little place to eat, seems very well kept. Fishing right out the front door! I also have stayed at Appledorns which is located on the south end of the lake. Also a nice place, but I like the fishing on the north side better.
April 30, 2012 at 11:23 am #1063805I use a # 11 or 13 floating rapala in firetiger or perch.

I am not a fan of my Benelli. Too Heavy.
The Benelli Super Vinci weighs 6.9lbs. Not sure if you can find a lighter 3.5 auto, but it’s pricey!
