we were out sat with only 2 sub legal. i’m usally on pool 4 this time of yr, c.l. has been so good this yr. but guess i don’t know how to fish it this time of yr. let us know how you did. wayne

talked to creel guy acouple of days ago and i was the last to be checked, he said he seen 2 walleyes that morning and very few yellows.don’t know about west of island. i heard it was barren now,with storm coming. spent all my time east of island.best nite 7 yellow and 1 keeper walleye,and a few nites of nothing.

check past posts. mud flats is where i’ved had the best luck. hard getting around,unless you follow the crowd at the island.

way n.e. of island, i think they’re just roaming the flats.fished all nite , best bite was evening 4 to 8. 1 14″ crappie 1 15″ walleye 6 11″ yellows. thats 14 hr’s on the ice, better than nothing.

from whay i hear hunting was fairly good. hope this cold weather does’t take a toll on them.

nick,i agree i’d mention to james be i’d like to see a hat that does’t just lay flat on head, but shows who you represent.sorry james. but i wear my alaska hat around town. but have 3 ida decals on my wheeled ice house.just my opinion.

whats the lastest report on ice conditions? does it look like it maybe driveable by the the 6th???

i think its a trend thats goin to continue, i’ve ice fished for over 20 yrs on clear lake. and over time it’s been less and less.

were not goin to be on any lakes in this area till spring.(sorry my attitude not good for now)but im goin to rush jan 6 and and change that. even if i just have bite.

was on the lake the 27th 2 of us caught 2 17 and 2 14 walleyes pulling shad raps at 2.5 mph. went the 28th not even a tick. been what i would call slow
