Nodakk, I own a 2002 ZX1775 with a 80 yamaha tiller. That is max rated hp according to the data plate. I fish leech lake mostly in MN. It does fine on Leech if you dont need to blaze across the tops of waves. With 2 people and gear in it, it does about 33 in small chop. It is much better then my 2000 Crestliner at deflecting the side spray. I have updated it to a couple of Smooth Moves suspension seats. driver chair is spring and the other is a air seat. Wife loves fishing with me, but not getting beat up to do it. If it had the Mertens power steering lock on it, it would be a perfect boat. I do wish the rod locker was longer. feel free to get in touch if you have not already pulled the trigger on it
