There was a warranty, but since it was over 1 year old they made me pay the new price. I could have kept the old ones, or paid the new price difference.
I’m trolling for walleye’s and salmon, and my okuma convectors have yet to let me down.Don’t skimp on your reel. You can buy a less expensive rod for trolling. I have several cabelas trolling rods, ($35 ea.) and haven’t had an issue.
I run 30lb big game on my dipsy rods for mono, and 40lb power pro. Typically I’m running power pro because I’ll achieve greater depth. I use snubbers on both, and I’ve never been broken off.
