there is a farm pond just down the road from my house that is loaded with these creatures… it is relatively new (2 years) and is already ruined with the presence of these fish.. that is all you catch!! they are almost like a bad bluegill and will eat anything in sight. im not one to kill a fish if i am not eating it, but these fish are not healthy for a pond and do no good other than eat everything and fun to catch

Thanks, I read the review on the flashers and will definately not get a VPG.. now its a toss-up between vexilar and marcum! i have an load of scheels gift certificates from gifts and returns alike and do not know what to do! i like the idea of the true color display on the marcum but its about 100$ more than i want to spend.. what does the lx-3 run? i dont want the same thing everyone else has and i dont know anyone that owns a marcum flasher. thanks!

November 5, 2006 at 12:01 am #496001Theres a product available through any marine store called ZING and works very well. There is one for aluminum and fiberglass. Its around 90% hydrochloric acid and will cause some damage if not rinsed shortly after . Wear latex gloves and use a terry cloth. Its around $10-15 and should work great. Also theres Bass Boat Saver used for waterspots and detailing. Never used it but heard it works great – http://www.bassboatsaver.com
good luck
