The garden sweet corn is a week away from being ripe for the picking! That means it’s time to fire up the smoker for some neighborhood fun, fun being I supply the main dish- this year, brisket again, and this year fresh from my garden sweet corn and the neighbors supply the drinks, side dishes and entertainment.
As such, I am on the hunt for a new brisket recipe. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with my recipe, it has been requested the last 4 years, and on occasion am asked to make it for friends for there get togethers. I just like to change things up to keep it interesting and like many of you, always on the hunt for a chance to improve what I already have.
