Do-It molds introduced a new, different blade bait mold this fall and the lures are something else. I got hold of some prototypes to fish while up at the cabin a couple different times this summer/fall and these guys have a super interesting action when cast and retrieved. And Lake Trout seem to have a liking for them.
Shown are 3/4 ouncers, the smallest of the 4 cavity molds. One ounce, 1 1/4 ounce and 1 1/2 ounce are the other three sizes. They all take the same blade blank. The blades are 5 hole instead of the three hole found on the sonar style of lures which allows for super fine tuning the lure to specific needs. Overall length is 3 1/4″
The molds cast very clean and are flash-free. I’ll be giving these a paint job soon and will post some pictures when done.
