For those Lake Trout guys that like to jig these beasts out of deep water, here’s a serious tube to help get the job done. This guy measures just under 4 1/2″ in length and just under 1″ at the widest part of the heavily ribbed body. The ribbing catches a lot of air to make those enticing bubbles that draw trout and they also help slow the action a bit. When the trout hit they don’t feel a hard jig inside, they feel the soft plastic ribs “give” just like a bait fish.
Its called a Zipper Tube and there’s nothing at all shy about it. After all, Lakers are known to hit big foods and this one fits the bill nicely.
