I’ve fished with that guide before! I love Tarpon fishing down there. Never caught anything big but numbers of 10-20# fish.
Awesome! The FW and I fished tarpon there, too. It was awesome. Definitely something I need to do again. Live bait? When we went, we caught live bait (I think he said they were sardines) and then motored around looking for feeding fish. The guide would then start tossing out the sardines, and the tarpon would go nuts. I think we only landed 2 but lost quite a few more.
