The colors on these fish are so spectacular when you first boat them. Wish I could have gotten a shot holding a fresh one, but they are too spastic to hold.
That was my one offshore fish I was willing to get beat up over. I am not a fan of offshore fishing, it’s just too exhausting.
They are stunning, but it fades so quickly. Then again, they’re delicious, though!
We brought back a few pounds. They are a good tasting fish. And I like the texture. Snapper is OK, but it’s not a very firm fish.
And they all have different variations of color. I like when the back and fins are electric blue.
It’s a fun method of fishing too. Just find some frigate birds and then slow down and skip some frozen wahoo across the surface.
