Great to see you out with the new rig. It looks like you’ve got it pretty decked out already with the tracks and trees. How’s the ride when it gets snotty? You just don’t see many center consoles up here in the midwest. The only time I’ve ever been in one is down on the gulf chasing reds so my experience with them is limited.
No big suprises. I rigged it with a HDS 8 and a 7, Terrova 112, Traxstech trees, and just picked up a kicker. The only issues so far are with the main motor. It doesn’t seem to be getting full power.
I’ve had it in 3-4′ waves on Superior and was able to hold 25-30 mph. Definetly a drier ride than the 1750 Fish Hawk. Incidentally, this boat is also a Fish Hawk, made by Bombardier though. The best part is the 80 gallon gas tank. I’ve finally got a boat with some range.
