Has anyone fished the Zumbro much lately with all the high water? I’m going to do some canoeing down from the dam in the near future and was hoping someone here might have some helpful information.

News is we are getting another 4″ of rain. I haven’t fished it in years and with how high it will be, I can’t imagine you will have any luck. Maybe I’m wrong?

I measured three inches of “new” water just today and the lake is already over 3 1/2 feet high. The lake is supposed to top out another foot or so higher. That will make canoeing below the dam pretty much a no no in my book. I’m not even sure the take-out places at the Falls or Hammond are even in business this year due to the water and flooding issues. Fishing probably would be not productive in the least. I think passing on this adventure is in your best interest.

Zumbro Falls is probably going to get hit again. Flood stage is 18′ and it’s expected to crest tomorrow at 19.5′. Can’t imagine what we’d have if the rain would have kept up today like forecast stated.

The Sportsmans park just got cleaned up and will go under again.
There won’t be any fishing going on for a while.

My sweet corn patch is flat to the ground. Funny how it stands back up…somewhat anyhow. I gave up spraying the food plots for weeds. Couldn’t keep up this year.

Small in comparison to the wind storm damage they got up north.

    Pretty shitty summer.
