They are lowering the water 4ft starting on October 23 this year [2023]. Time to get out fishing while the water is still up.

FYI the dock is pulled at Pondy. Seems a bit early but makes sense with the draw down.
The RPU website says the drawdown will start on Oct. 29, will be brought down 4 feet by Nov. 6th and held there until Nov.20 at which time it will be slowly brought up the the 2 foot drawdown level for the remainder of the winter.

The website states that the 4 foot drawdown departure from the 2 foot drawdown is for shoreline repairs and dam maintenance.

Anybody on LZ recently? I was out a couple weeks ago and water was as dirty as I have ever seen it in a long time.
Just wondering if it has cleared up much.
Still under no wake, but may come off the restriction by the weekend and the water will be very dirty.

I like the no wake and cooler weather since it keeps the riff raff off that lake but I will try another option tomorrow until it clears up a bit.
