They are no longer making the bags you can pump the air out of with a hand pump. I will be emailing and calling the customer service line with my opinion.

Been using these for years now. Great for freezing fish and partridge. Gets the air out and a cheap setup. what does everyone else use when freezing fish? I’d really prefer not to buy a vacuum sealer machine.

Prefer nobody tells Seth Feider I have walleye in my freezer.

I just fill with water past the fillets and push all air out before sealing. I would love to get a vacuum sealer in the near future…

went thru this in June, go to Food Saver website. they make the bags and sell a way better hand held vacuum pump on sale for $9.95. Bags are also available at Target stores (food Saver brand) works as good and the $150.00 units as long as you can use the size bags available. Bags are reseal able to reuse and are bph free ( I may not have that spelled right but they are safe to use for microwave)

awesome. thanks wayne for sure checking out the food saver ones.

ticks a guy off to find something that works great and they discontinue it. if you haven’t used these kind of bags they are better than a normal vacuum sealer in my mind. and resealable.

Oh I know, but I maybe keep 10 fish a year max. I can’t justify another solution. The large majority get eaten before frozen. For venison, goose and duck on the other hand…
