I’m almost to devils lake, swapping fuel filters on the kenworth , fuel gelled up and put me in limp mode.
Left my house at midnight. Started having fuel issues after filling in Alexandria. 2 jugs of diesel 911 and I filled both fuel filters.

Exactly, when I was outside yesterday I thought the same thing, if there was a wind it would have felt twice as bad.

At the dealer last week I saw a new GMC Sierra with the babyduramax on a flatbed. I asked what is wrong with that thing? The owner put Def in the fuel tank or ran it out completely of Def not sure the dude was kind of a dink.

We’re on the positive side of 0 at 3 this morning. I’ll settle for that temp.

Tonight and tomorrow morning look worse with the wind. I was planning on doing some hole hopping tomorrow but that might have to wait.

-28 at home this morning and of course the wife’s suv needed a boost to start the one night we leave it outside. Popped the kids in the car at 530 and heading west. Saw quite a few trucks pulled over on the interstate, assuming fuel issues??

Up to a balmy -10 in Bismarck, should keep going up as we go

That would suck lol. I think i just got bad blended diesel from holiday or something. Started getting stop motor immediately when I was about 1.5 hours from devils. New filters and 2 jugs of diesel 911 and she is good to go.
Sadly no fishing. 7 hour drive, I’ll work a 12 hour shift and need to crash a few hours. Then back to the grind tomorrow and drive back.

I filled at Holiday yesterday also. The Dodge doesn’t wanna go this morning either. Hard to buy decent fuel these days.

Fishing on Mille Lacs this morning. It’s an hour and 47 minute drive to Hunters point for me. Coldest temp on the truck was -35°. Temp was -25° when we setup the house. Actually quite pleasant out. And quiet!!!

I did see 4-5 pickups that clearly weren’t looking the cold.
