I’ll go with jalapeno pepper-infused Tequila.
Commander Honeybunch had a very spicy margarita when she was out with the girls a few weeks back and liked it a lot. She get’s lost in the kitchen, so I was tasked with figuring it out. A couple of google searches later and I came up with something amazingly simple that made tequila even better!
1-1 liter bottle of clear, decent quality Tequila.
3 Jalapeno peppers, seeded (unless your brave), and chopped fine.
Pour tequila into a 1 quart mason jar. Add peppers. Infuse for eight hours. Strain peppers out of the Tequila and pour back into the bottle. Simple as that. It turns a very faint green.
We keep it in the freezer, and I’ve been enjoying it neat, but then again I like Tequila–a lot. It is hot, but deliciously so.
