AC/DC and Metallica for me. Saw Metallica at the stadium a few years ago, sadly it never worked out for me to see AC/DC before one of the best lead singers of all time had to retire bawling

Wait until in the morning when the old guys wake up. Rock & Roll back in the day differs from whats around in the last 20-25 years.

Dutch, you need to go back more than 25 years to find any decent rock and roll. 25 years would set right in the midst of twinky music and disco.

25 years ago I was 15 and would say that good rock music was almost dead at that time. There are some exceptions but once the hair band phase started in the 80’s and early 90’s I think true rock and roll kinda died.

I like some new rock like Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. Metallica and Pearl Jam still put out some ok stuff but good rock is few and far between.

They couldn’t bury disco deep enough,it is being regurgitated on some of those”classic”stations.

If you are looking for good rock these days, seems the commercial stations fail to deliver.

We probably have different definitions of rock and roll.

    Skynyrd
    Hank Jr
    Ray Wylie Hubbard
    Blackberry Smoke
    Molly Hatchet
    Aaron Lewis

And the best all time artist to ever walk this earth, regardless of genre, Chris Ledoux.
