Hey guys. I’m new here and found a used yar-craft 1785 BT. Its got a 97 75hp merc tiller and a minnkotas on the bow and back that run on a couple of cabelas deep cycle batteries.

Anyone have this boat? Anyone fish from one? Im really looking for cons more than pros, but any input would be helpful. The batteries are from 06. Any thoughts on the service left in them?

Thanks a bunch! Glad to be a here!

You will LOVE this boat. I have spend many hours in one.

The batteries on the other hand will need to be replaced soon.

I have a 1999 1785 Wrangler (full windshield) with a 150 hp Yammy. The boat is a great boat, and i think you’ll be happy with it….good in big water. My only comment would be that you may find that it’s a bit underpowered with the 75 hp. If you haven’t pulled the trigger yet, i’d take her for a good trial run, and see what you think.
