Yamaha small outboard prop?

    I just got an aluminum Yamaha OEM prop I ordered. I’m slightly concerned it’s not actually a Yamaha prop.

    The new prop ID markings are on one of the blades, the original prop is marked on the hub. Is this just an older prop, or can they be marked differently?

    The new prop is a 10.5 pitch, the original is 11.25. Side by side they appear similar, but do have slight build differences. The original looks prettier IMO.

    well,,,,, you could always visit a Yamaha dealer, ask for a new # 664-45945-00 prop, open the box, and see what it looks like.
