Xi5 on Lund Pro Guide (1825)

    Going from a Terrova with MKA-21 bracket.

    What bracket is recommended?

    I moved from a MK to xi5 and used the same quick detach. Mine was not a MK braket but one intended for power drive or terrova.
    I did have a bit of an issue when I mounted mine though where I didn’t have enough clearance for the side panels on the motor to be reattached. I ended up adding a few washers beneath the baseplate bracket which gave me enough room. It’s rock solid and works great.
    I know some guys have used the motorguide quick detach low profile (forget exact name) and one guy lost his motor. It came lose from the base bracket and motor went in the drink. Granted this was user error because he didn’t have the pun or lock installed properly to lock in place but something to think about. Plus those mounts are more spendy.
    This is similar to the one I have but mine is not a MK brand.
