I have researched this from past posts. However, I cannot find a solution. Have a 24 volt xi5, 2 humminbird gen 2 helix on the console. The xi5 is connected to the batteries up front. Nothing else is hooked up to those batteries.
When the xi5 is running, when I have down scan up on helix, I get all interference. It’s so bad, cannot read the screen. If I turn off the xi5, interference is gone.
This does not happen with 2D sonar. Just down scan. I have not looked at side scan, to see if any interference.
The helix’s are connected to the starting battery.
Prior to doing any updates to the helix’s, I did not have this problem.
Anyone have any suggestions??
Doesn’t make sense to me…. trolling motor on seperate circuit then the graphs. Also, the wires from the trolling motor, are run on opposite side of boat, then any other wires, accesorries.
