My mother in law recently passed away. My sister in laws name is already on the Xcel Energy bill with my mother in law. My mother in law sold the house to my sister in law 15 years ago but still lived there and wanted to pay the all the utilities. They each had separate post office boxes and the utility bills came to my mother in law. My sister in law called the gas company and they changed the address to my sister in laws post office box while she was talking on the phone with them. She called the Village Water and Sewer and they changed it right away.. She called Xcel Energy and they would change it, but it would cost her $16.50 to change the address to her post office box. It only takes about 30 seconds to change it on a computer. What a rip off!!
