I was getting ready to install a wind deflector? Not really sure what the proper term is? It goes under the middle window on a 2020 WX2060. It keeps the wind from blowing on you. The vinyl cover came with the boat. I have to install snaps on the sides and the floor. It came with snaps that look to go to the bottom of the middle window. Does anyone know how they attach to the window? Thanks.

The bottom of my window rail is beveled, the snap will not attach to that. I thought it should go on the top of the rail and into the middle groove, But it doesn’t seem to fit there either.

Sorry for the delay, the short bend goes on top or in the trim.

Thanks for the picture. Is that on the outside or the inside of the window?

The inside of my windshield is a little different than yours. You can see in my pictures that posted, mine has a deep channel running across the middle of the rail and my snaps does not fit init.

Looks like the exact same window frame to me.

Should be same window, the long leg goes in the center channel, short leg slides in between aluminum frame and the thin black vinyl trim.

Alright, so I have been messing around with this thing this evening and still could not get the window snap to go in correctly. So, I thought I could try to make something. What I came up with is. Corroplast. The plastic sheeting that resembles cardboard structurally. I cut it to be placed where the opening is, with small legs that go into small openings next to the rod box and storage boxes. Best thing is, that I didn’t have to drill any holes for the side snaps. Hopefully it works. I’ll be trying it out on lake Erie this weekend.

My 2019 WX2200 came with the wrong size snaps that go into the window frame. My buddies 2020 came with the same size mine came with, so wrong size. I just ordered some in 2019 off amazon. Costed a couple bucks. Easier then running to the dealership, as they offered the right size. I have used the canvas snap in a couple Skeeters now. Works very well to block the wind on cold days!

Let us know how your flap works.
