I don’t see any dealers stocking this package yet, is there a reason? I was told the SHO is a $1200 upgrade, could this be why? I am thinking about selling my 1790T and getting into the WX1850. Not sure what motor would be best for the money?
I cant speak for other dealers, but on the 150 the performance difference is really minimal. Generally speaking, the $ difference in a highly competitive market place is probably why. The SHO hood is very appealing to me but is it worth it to most consumers?
We commonly switch motors as needed, so we certainly can accommodate a SHO in most cases if that is something you want to pursue.
Thanks Dean for your help. I did see that you are stocking plenty MX1825’s with the new SHO, does that hull gain more performance with the new motor then the WX1850 does?
To be honest, minimal. Slight increase of top speed, but my guy tells me it will have more impact on the 1850 vs the 1825. My thoughts it is more of a looks factor than a performance decision. Just my .02 cents worth!
I also hear this motor comes with vts like my 75hp. Anyone know how low the rpms will get? I have heard 650?
