I am looking for a new boat, and I am almost positive I want a skeeter. My question is, how much bigger is the cockpit on the 2060 vs the 1910? We do most of our fishing from the cockpit, and I will need the extra room for when the family wants to go out and play. Thanks in advance for your responses.

    lind,

Where are you located? Set up an appointment with either of the Skeeter
Boat Center stores. They will putt both models right next to each other for you. But the best part, is you call take a drive in both models to compare them where it really counts, on the water.

The 2060 will also have higher sides than the 1910.

    WX1910: beam 95.5″
    cockpit floor: 70″ across x 82″ long
    rear deck: 75″ across x 27″ long
    front deck: 72″ across x 65″ long

    WX2060: beam 99″
(i don’t know the other measurements)

i got the WX1910 because of garage fit. i have the same considerations: lots of cockpit time with trolling and family fishing. i’ve never felt it was too small, especially with the jump seats to help conserve floor space; at the same time, no one every complains about having extra room from a bigger boat!

as suggested above, definitely take a side-by-side test drive on the water.

Thanks for all the info!! The wx1910 measurements are especially helpful. I live up in ND so SBC is a jaunt, but I think I’ll have to put it on the to-do list. It will be really helpful to get on the water in one.

Actually I agree, test driving both will answer your question with ease !
We have one of each ready to roll when or if you have interest. Measurements on paper really aren’t the same as the actual in-person feel.

I have a WX 2060 and fish three adults with room to spare. Absolutely, go look and compare them side by side. My opinion was that it could get tight with 3 adults in a 1910, and 4 was too much for my preferences. I fish Leech and felt that the deeper cockpit depth was also a consideration with small children. My 2060 does fit through my 7ft tall garage door by about 1/2 inch.

I know I am getting late on this conversation, but I looked at the 1910 when i bought my 2060. Didn’t do any measuring, but looks to be a tremdous amount more room in the cockpit. In fact the 2060 in my opinion has the biggest cockpit of all the 20′ class boats out there. Good luck in making your decision.

Phil, How are you liking your WX2060? I too just picked one up from Darrin and live in the area.

Anything you recommend for maximizing my new purchase?

I ended up getting a 2060, and love it. It seems to be about the perfect size for the fishing we do, and the big water performance is amazing.

    Dean;
How much did the 2060’s change from the 2025’s?

Two completely different boats. The new mx2025 is the mx2040. The 2060 is a wx series boat.

Uncertain of your question for sure.
The current version of the MX2025 is now the MX2040

    The WX2060 is still a WX2060
