I have an older 7″ Strike Master Lazer auger bit in good shape.

This is a nice size for hole hopping panny chasers. I would like to trade for an 8″. For all you hole hopping maniacs…..this is a speed demon of an auger bit. It offers a 24% reduction in surface area over an 8″ bit.

Not interested in an outright sale or any other trade.

    PM please.

I got a older 8″ auger I would be interested in trading. 15 years old. Missing lots of paint. Other wise I think Dave Koonce had a newer 8″ he was looking to get rid of.

Mine is roughly the same age – missing some paint and has not seen ice in 10 yrs. I would be interested in a trade if we could work something our to meet – and I am not in a rush – so perhaps we could line something up some time and avoid shipping costs?

I saw on another forum, that you can put 8″ blades on that auger. The flighting is the same size. Worth looking into.

No – a 7 inch is not the same as an 8 in regards to flighting, at least the 8″ chipper I have is different than the 7″ Lazer.

I just do not use it at all, and on the handful of times per season that I fish panfish, I would prefer to have an 8″. I have always used a 10″ for everything for a long long time, so now if I drill a 7″ hole, it looks too small….lol.

You can put 8″ Lazer blades on a 7″ Lazer bit is what the earlier poster was saying.
