Recently upgraded the electronics on our boat and selling these units, both in excellent condition. Both were purchased in 2013, although the 998 only has 376 hours on it and the 898 only 20 hours! I have power cords, gimball mounting brackets and knobs, and sonar unit covers for both units. In addition, I have one HD SI transducer with the mounting bracket, a GPS receiver, and the various guide books including an operations manual CD-ROM, installation guide, operations summary guide and a GPS receiver manual. Asking $900 for the 998 and $750 for the 898. Will include whatever accessories you need based on what is still available. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested. We are located just south of Omaha, Nebraska. Thanks for looking.

    David,
Interested in why you think it will be a tough sell? Thanks for your input.

Based on what I’ve seen your asking prices are about double what those units go for around here on Craigslist.

    Hope that helps.

I would have to agree… I think I paid a bit over $1000 for my 898 back in February of 2013. Use becomes insignificant to age of unit, especially with new stuff out every day…

I could buy 2 brand new Garmin 93sv’s for $150 more. Maybe Nebraska has a better market. I would check your prices as others have said

Appreciate everyones input! I have sold the 898c HD SI combo unit, but still have the 998c HD SI combo unit available. Included with the 998 would be the power cord, gimball mounting bracket and knobs, sonar unit cover, along with an operations manual CD-ROM and an operations summary guide. Does not include a GPS receiver or a transducer. Have lowered my asking price to $600 OBO. I will cover any necessary shipping costs. Thanks.
