What kind of person shoots a 8 year old kid 4 times? Don’t give me the mental illness stock answer. These guys need to be locked up for the rest of their lives with no parole.

It’s the only way to make sure the crime is never committed again, by that person at least.

I have not heard the story. But if a crime like that is committed the person needs to killed not locked up. And not after 10 years of trials. Needs to happen immediately.

Had to do some googling, it wasn’t the 7 year old that died of neglect on the Red Lake Rez, or the 8 year old killed by hit and run in a stolen car in MSP…

I grew up in the 70s in the country and we were not out at 10:15 at night.

Sadly I hate to say it, but that is fairly common in that neighborhood and lots of others as well. I use to do police ride alongs with a Minneapolis policy officer in the 90’s and you would not believe the # of really young children that were out playing in the streets are crazy hours. I mean like REALLY young kids and some REALLY late hr’s. It always amazed and saddened me. me.

i get what your saying…….really……….but i dont care …..still shouldnt need to worry about getting shot, regardless of age or time of day!!!!!!!!!
