Wtb. Remmington 870 or similar in 20g

Looking for a duck gun for my son. His birthday is Sunday and I can’t find anything on a shelf in any store.
Figured I’d try here. Thank you in advance.

You could give St Croix Outdoors in St Croix Falls a visit/call. When I was looking for my 12ga a couple months ago they had some Mossberg 500’s in 20ga.

There was a Mossberg youth 20 gauge that was bought/sold many times as different kids grew up. I think at last count 5 kids had used that gun.

If you’re willing to drive a little, call Sportsman’s Headquarters in Minong. I was in there the beginning of last week to buy a Franchi 20, and they actually had a decent amount in stock.

My school service won’t let me open it up but if you call they had some guns in last time I was there in February.

I can’t sell it but I have a youth model 870 20ga. He’s welcome to borrow it/ come shoot it whenever he wants.

Capra’s in Blaine and Boone’s Fine Guns in Isle may be worth a call as well.

I will be calling around. Never thought it would be so hard to find a 870 or mossberg. But I suppose everyone snatched them up.

Might be another long shot, but Cabin Fever in Victoria may have something too.

You could also try calling Fleet Farm in Hudson. I know they occasionally have them in stock as well, as that is where I found my 12.

When I was out at the in-laws place in Annandale over this past Thanksgiving, I stopped by the H&H Sport Shop in Maple Lake inquiring about a Mossberg500 12ga. The guy at the counter laughed, said he hadn’t seen any since the riots started. The order they put in that week was expected to arrive in August of 2021.

I called B&J Trapline in Darwin for you. They do not have any. I’m still looking for a left handed slug barrel for a left handed 870 I bought for my son. Good luck. Seems combos are really hard to come by.

You might have to get him a fishing rod instead. Finding a gun like that is like me finding my trolling motor in stock.

He has enough rods these days. And is now spoiled enough to only want to use my gloomis rods.
And update from northern is troller still not in stock.

Yup. Been going there for years. My uncle was also a very good customer there. It’s pretty cool place. I sopose a place like that should be kept a secret. 🤫

B@J Trapline in Darwin. You should check it out sometime. They are a sweet old couple selling guns out of their barn for many years.

Boones in Isle had mossburg 500 bantoms last weekend but they went from 399 a month or so ago to i think it was 599

I know Cabin Fever does not i have been wanting to get one there since last fall.
