Wtb musky gear

    Hello,
    Looking to get into musky fishing this season. If you you guys have any gear that are willing to part ways with let me know what you got and how much you are asking. Really looking for a decent 8ft-8’6″ med-heavy and/or reel. I live in Waukesha county and can meet anywhere around that area. Or if you are willing to ship? Thanks guys

    When looking at used reels make sure to inspect them well. Lesson for noises and feel for grinding. You don’t want to be buying someone else problems. Stay away from Abu 6500. I went through 3 of them my first year musky fishing. A good reel may cost some $$$ but at the cost of trying to do it cheap and buying 3 reels in one season I spent more than I would have if I just bought the good one. For a reel that will last and is not too much, I would look at Shimano Calcutta 400B. Wish I could help you out with some gear but I can never seem to part with fishing stuff.

    i have a 7′ extra heavy action bass pro muskie rod and an okuma citrix with a power handle spooled with 85lb braid id be willing to let go… om me for price and pics

    The abu 6500 are nice just make sure you get the Swedish made abu Garcia’s
