WTB – Muskie / Musky Net – Short notice

I find myself in need of a muskie net on short notice. Anyone living near Saint Cloud have one they want to sell? Being that I will only need it once a year at most I don’t want to spend the money on a new big $ one. Once a year trip to Canada for large Pike. I find myself fishing with 2 fishermen that I’m not sure of their hand landing skills. I’d hate to have someone put a hook Thru a hand or anyplace else while in rather remote Canada. If anyone has one they care to sell please contact me.

I have a Beckman in classified for 80$, too big for walleyes but would work for pike and smaller musky. It’s only a year old. I’m heading to Mille lacs tomorrow late morning, so could meet somewhere on the way

Craig – Thanks for the heads up on the classified post. I should have thought to look there 1st. I’m having a hard time visualizing How big this net is from the measurements. The pike we would most likely be using it on would be 38-45″ Anything smaller we normally just hand land. Do you think this net would work for a 40″+ fish?

I think it would. Bag is really deep. Mid 40’s to 50 might be tough. We’re leaving the cities at 10:30 am, heading up 169 to garrison. Let me know and I’ll throw it in the truck.
