In the works of building a livescope kit. If anyone has either a LVS32 with or without a black box or a PS22 they would like to sell, PM me and maybe we can work out a deal. I am only interested in buying something in person and live in the south metro but would drive within the metro area. Still contemplating just buying the combo LVS32/BB online which most places have it for $999 currently.

I am doing the same, just FYI you probably won’t even find a used deal cheaper than $900 for the LVS32/BB. The bass pro deal is marked down $500 right now. From my understanding, the LVS32 is worlds better clarity-wise than the PS22.

Aboxy, my main hangup on just buying the LVs32/BB deal online is I think most of these are the original style LVS32 cable without the strain relief, I could be wrong if you end up buying on could you let me know what the cable looks like going into the transducer. Only reason I would buy a PS22 is if it was really cheap just to be able to start out using livescope and then eventually jump to the LVS34.

Any new LVS32 you find will be the new cable design…I would personally look for a lightly used LVS32 transducer and then buy the GLS10 separately… You’ll find LVS32’s down in the $250 range as those guys likely upgraded to a LVS34 and just want to get some $ back…

Don’t even bother with the PS22 (that’s Panoptix) it’s like playing with Atari when Livescope (LVS32/34) is like Playstation…

Probably swing by Cabela’s and verify what the transducer looks like on the end for the lvs32/BB combo that they have.

TH I will pm you if I end up wanting to go the ps22 route. Not really sure what a fair price would be for a used one of those.

They have the Garmin LVS32/BB at cabelas for $999. Starting today you get a $50 gift card back. I can verify that its the new style transducer cable with the ice fishing single cable. Not sure what the stock is at the cabels near you, but they had some at the Woodbury location. You also get $50 back on the 93SV that is priced at $699

if you plan to ice fish with it, the Ice Fishing version (LVS32-IF) of the transducer is nice and makes a difference winding the cable back up after using it out in the cold…not sure if they have both versions to choose from?

I could be wrong but I believe the single cable is the ice fishing version. if that is the case that is what came with it see attached picture.

nope, the IF version has a more rubberized cable material, it stays flexible in the cold, that normal version in the picture gets very stiff in the cold…
