    I’ve been searching as well and it seems people still want retail. Best price is L&M and Scheels for $450.

    Yes I’ve been noticing that Jon. I’m in no great hurry. Still have a Marcum Lx 3 that I use nothing wrong with it, just looking to upgrade.

    Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I’ve been half-heartedly watching for a deal on an entry-level unit. Fleet Farm has the Marcum M1 for $290, and I haven’t seen a used one selling for less than that. They also have the Vex FL-8SE for $270, and that seems to be the going price for a used one. rotflol

    Bought mine on eBay, brand new for $467 after their 15% off coupon, and got some eBay bucks back as well. It was the propack too. They just had the coupon a few days ago and seem to offer it once every month or two.
