WOW…. what a blow

    This morning when I got up it was 31 on our deck. I thought “well at least it’s still making ice”. Yesterday our lake north of Brainerd was about 1/3 froze over. Once it got light enough, however, I could see white-caps on the lake and the ice is all gone. The temperature dropped quickly all day and it’s now down to 7, so we’ll start the ice making again!

    Heading back in to work for a emergency call and my goodness it’s cold out now. Won’t be a fun night

    I think I saw where we in Rochester had a peak gust of 62mph yesterday. I know that anything not bolted down on Tuesday is likely not where it’s supposed to be today.
