Local Fleet Farm seems to either be out of crawlers all the time or only have bags of 250. Has anyone fished Garlic scented cralwers and do they perform any different for walleye?

They work fine. Some guys I know who fish Little Bay de Nok swear by them when using crawler harness/spinners.

Walmart also sells crawlers. Use caution when opening them though. I’ve gotten some ripe ones from them.

I couldn’t find any in my yard in Rochester last time I looked . Have had luck using gulp crawlers on harnesses .

Very dependent on area and soil

Yep, one side of my property has more sandy soil but there are other areas of richer topsoil. Just have to take a walk at night and see where they like to hang out. Fast little buggers they are!
