Does anyone here go with Bob Luellen at worldwide marine underwriters for their boat insurance?
On one of the other sites I see a number of very positive reviews so I’m considering switching to him, however I’d like to hear a bit more before I do. They are based out of michigan, so I feel a bit strange buying insurance basically over the internet. However, it sounds like they really know their stuff.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Bob has quoted for me but I’m still with Justin at Waters & Woods. 
Always pays to shop around but I always go where my heart tells me I should be. I deal with local companies so if I have a problem I can find them to work things out. 
To answer your question I also have heard very good things about Bob.
I too got a quote from Bob and he was great in getting back to me with the info I needed. His quote was very similar to what I was using for the guide service so I stayed with Justin as well.
I don’t think you go wrong with either one more so if you’re in tourneys or guiding. They are in the know on what you need and don’t need.
I was looking at purchasing a new boat for the spring of 2015. First off I called around for insurance. I called my home guy, this guy that guy, It was crazy what they wanted. I Looked through lots of post and found Worldwide. I called Bob and talked with him for 20 minutes. He asked a lot of questions. More then I had for him. He said he would send a quote over tomorrow. He did. It was half of what my home and auto guy’s quote was. And it was the right coverage I needed. I am now with him for my 2nd year. This spring I updated all my tackle pictures and have them on file with him as well it went really smooth. Good experience but no claims as well
