Gonna look at the metris this evening. Just to look. Hopefully find some time tomorrow to look at the other ones. I know the econos and expresses, they haven’t changed much in my time. Which is a good thing unless you’re like me who likes to change it up doah

Was pretty impressed with the metris. Most those transit connect type vans are tiny, the metris reminds me of an old astro with its larger space, and with its higher payload ratings can haul some $hit too. Wont find too many unhappy owners, at all.

Either way I was confused it had awd options, newer ones do but none of the past. Will have to pass since I would need to haul a trailer once in awhile with a smaller vehicle. Had no issues with quality, guess i dont look at the actual doors, more so their hinges and handles. Where all my issues have been in past with other work vans.

Moved on to Transit and the NVs. See how it goes, end of year requires a vehicle purchase!

Been happy with my promaster. Think its going on 3 years now. I use it daily for running service calls but do take it pretty easy on it. Its been in the shop for a couple issues and currently needs to go in for a recall.

Minor issues have been head lights constantly going out. Change one just about every oil change. Rear door hinges need to be oiled and loosed up 2 to 3 times a year. Thinking the hinges wont be long lasting.

Been through a lot of work trucks over the years and none are without issues. For me its usually most cost effective to buy them new, run them out to 100k-150k and get a new one. Those are the best miles out of the vehicles. Past that repairs and lost time get far more expensive than just making a payment. First year of owning this truck my vehicle expenses dropped 3% over the last truck with just a little over 100k on it.

Pulled the trigger on a Nissan nv 2500. Pick it up Friday. Hopefully get it decaled this weekend.

Can’t believe how low interest rates are right now.

Maybe my 5’x8′ enclosed work trailer can now get converted to the atv ice fish mobile. yay

I really liked my Nissan besides on a windy day. You will always have plenty of power. And a rear heater is a easy install

Decals. I do like the wraps nowadays on vehicles but just not my style.

Will show it off once she’s all prettied up.

It’s not a white van so kids can’t make fun of my creepiness lol.

And yes pout, it’s heavy as he!!

Good luck with your choice Beads! Never checked an NV out so no opinion. Look forward to seeing your setup!

Since I mentioned the sunvisor is moronic on the Transit figured I’d post a picture. No idea how Ford thought a visor that almost reaches the steering wheel was a good idea. And if you need it down just a bit your forehead hits it! ???

The over head storage in the nv is also great. I almost forgot about that part.

Well now. Mr. Beads is lookin fly and rollin fat in the new Nissan. Are you having it lowered before or after the decals?

I spotted this bumper sticker on a white van parked in the state fair parking lot once. I’ll get you one for Christmas.

Ha! Lowering might make for a good look when I try and break into the affordable housing market. Probably not anytime soon tho.

Not sure how many customers might like that bumper sticker, it’s hard enough having “Got Wood? decaled on back of trailer. doah
