Work Shirts

We all have to pay for our toys one way or another, might as well stay as comfy as one can.

With the heat this past week I put my various brand shirts through the ringer, and still cant find a better blue collar man work shirt than the Duluth trading company Coolmax tshirts. Expensive but they last and feel as cool as ya can.

Anyone else finding anything I am not?

Carhartt cool tshirts from fleet are second place. Tried some different brands of cotton ones, blah.

Still thinking maybe some logo’ed athletic gear may be the way to go, but after the shirt and logo $$ may just not be worth it, anyone have experience with sweating their arses off in anything like that?

I mow in long sleeve performance fishing shirts. If you really want to cool down, wet it. A little breeze will make you feel like your in a refrigerator.

A programmer would think mowing is work….. devil

Sorry, had to have some fun. I agree, I feel myself get cooler when fishing when I put them on.

I can’t deny that. I always say the only exercise I get is mowing. The bikes are collecting dust waiting for October.

I like that performance shirts are pretty stain resistant. I’ve gotten grass and dirt stains from doing yard work and they come right out.

Bealls is a Florida store and they always are having sales. If you watch you can get shirts for $20 and they are high quality. Reel Legends is their brand and they are just as high quality as the bigger name brands.

5 pack of hanes tagless plain white shirts from walmart. Cheapest rags a guy can wear, they are thin, they are white, getting them dirty shouldn’t matter at the price point.
Heck that’s all I would ever wear if my wife would let me.

Love those shirts for around the house. Vneck shows off the sexy chest hair lil bit, FW likes it(probably not but I like it)

Problem with those is they look like a plain white t. I like to present a better look to my customers.

Duluth trading armachillo t shirt and boxer briefs.
    Cabelas cool last are decent
Columbia cool wickening shirts are nice.
REI cant remember what they call theirs.

Marmot is about my favorite though and mountain headwear. Both are hiking shirts

I love Bealls. I was in one a week ago today! I have several Reel Legend shirts.

    Where at?

Here is an uninteresting fact. Bealls was founded across the river from me in Bradenton. The whole story is pretty interesting.

@suzuki our old stomping grounds, we love that area. I seem to remember a post in the past where you said you were there.

We used to rent pontoons from Highbanks on the saint John’s. That was awesome for viewing wildlife, but I could never figure out the fishing. Then we’d relax at the swamphouse. Hontoon island is pretty cool too. Lyonia preserve is a scrub brush ecosystem where if you bring some water bottles, you might get a scrub Jay to perch on you to drink.

Love that area, it has that old Florida feel. Unfortunately it was too far from the salt for our liking.

But as you can tell, we still miss it.
