    In this day an age there are lots of people that do not believe unions are a good thing. Until they get a good UNION job with a living wage.!!! . . rrr

    i agree. 41 years with Boilermakers local 647.

    instead of people arguing about union benifits maybe they should fight for there own.

    I left my Wisconsin Child Protection job 20 years ago. Soon afterwards we lost our union protection and the job NOW pays the same as it did when I left…..20 years ago. Good for the state, maybe but good for the people, no, not with the present unmotivated work force. You get what your money buys and seldom more. I was UAW 50 years ago in a foundry and the same job paid 50% in a non union shop. Horrible work environment, like dying and going to Hell. But it paid good, over 3 bucks an hour. You could buy a new Ford Mustang for $2500. in 1964 1/2.
