My girlfriend is looking for a good pair of boots for the ice this winter. She’s a freeze baby so curious if anyone has recommendations that their SO likes. Was looking at Baffins but figured I’d reach out on here. Thanks

    Was looking at Baffins

Right there would be my answer. I know several women who own the Impacts and love them.

Lacrosse Alpha Agility has worked nice for my wife.

She will wear them walking our driveway/property when it’s plowed gravel, drifted snow, sledding, rare occasions where she comes ice fishing, and never complains about cold feet.

It’s basically a less bulky version of the popular Men’s Alpha Burly Pro that has a bit less slop and width.

My wife tried the Baffins and hated them. They were too heavy for her. She likes her Muck Arctic Pro.

My wife loves Korkers. They keep her warm while ice fishing and the interchangeable soles can’t be beat.

Baffin boots are bulky and can make you look like Herman Munster. Guys don’t care but women do.

My wife is in the likes Muck Arctic Pro’s camp if she’s going to do much walking. The Baffins made both her feet and back hurt.

Do they make the Muck Arctic Pro’s in womens, or did you just get them the mens version?

My wife and daughter just wear the standard Sorels. They been making them for a hundred years and they work.

I think you can usually get a deal on them at the Columbia store this late in the year.

Wear any comfortable boot and turn em on when needed.

We use rubber floor mats for under our boots when fishing in the flip over. It makes a big difference not having the bottom of your boots on bare ice, althought it wont helpn if hole hopping

Sorel Glacier Boots for Woman are a very good choice. My wife has been wearing a pair for years snowmobiling and anything on the ice.

Steger Mukluks assuming she stays away from water and slush. The warmth, weight, and comfort are in a different league than anything else posted here. They’re just not even remotely waterproof which would suck for us, but they’re perfect for the FW who’s just along for the ride and not popping holes or standing in slush.

My wife has some muck boots but I don’t remember the model. They are ok but she prefers her alpha burly’s in 1600g for ice fishing and hunting.

My wife has 1000g alphaburly pros and likes them. I think they didn’t have 1600g in women’s or her size or Scheels didn’t have them at the time? I don’t remember why we got those instead of 1600g. She likes them and they don’t seem overly bulky. I will admit my size 13 1600g ones are pretty damn heavy but she has no complaints about hers.
