Wobbly seat base problem

    Just bought a 2007 mr pike. Love the boat, but the seats wobble a ton in the bases. They are the spring lock version. Can the bases wear out or the bottom of the pedestals? Ideas?

    are you sure it’s not the floor under the base ?

    I know some of those bases have a black plastic sleeve that breaks and slips out making the bases super wobbly.

    You can buy a different type of base that the post slides all the way down and not the wedge. I have one I will sell you for $25 with the base and post. Look on line too can find them reasonably priced.
