    Any reports from Waconia? Struggled the last couple outings.

    Lots of people and noise out there.

    The most important thing on waconia is to stay as far away from the shanty towns as possible. That means not fishing cemitery, center, pilsbury or andersons. Think out side the box out there there’s plenty of walleyes in places people never look

    can you give a guy a little more info.

    depth? Weed Edges? shiners vs fatheads? not looking for locations just info….

    Waconia is a shiner lake if you can find the transition from weeds to gravel in 17-19fow you’ll be on the rite track. I drill lots of holes and fish aggressive with jigging raps and chubby darters to pick off hungry eyes then set a tip up with a small 2-4″ shiner on a #4 hook.

    Surprised me but we had a bucket full between 4:30 and 7:30 in about 17 ft. Yes, 17 ft. they were hugging the bottom. Watched them on the camera.

    What was going on out on the lake this weekend?? Seem to be a lot of people out there and I know the fish are not biting that great.
