    Not looking for spots, just curious if anyone has had success this year or previously on this lake. Looks like some great transitions and structure….

    Lots of panfish out there. Whispering bay is a popular spot. Pancake Island is another. Long point (I think that is what they call it) is a good access point as is the public landing, whisper bay and another right off of HWY 8. SW part of the lake is the deepest and sees the least fishing pressure.

    Thanks Mike! I did my checking into it previously and gonna head there this weekend with my kids, after I saw the DNR site for panfish numbers!

    We always caught lots of sunfish and crappies while up there. Struggled finding decent size but I tend to do that on every lake around the area. Some of those deeper areas of the lake I would wonder about ice thickness there. It can take a while for deep water to freeze over.
