East Metro Ice Update

Was out in the Maplewood and Woodbury area this weekend. Lakes have a consistent 6 Inches of good clear ice. About 5 inches of snow on top of that.

Thanks for the info. I’m planning to get out for the first time of the season on saturday. It’s gonna be a little tougher pulling the portable with all the snow. The good thing about the snow is we have something to pack around the portable to keep out the cold.

Did you check the ice on powers in woodbury? i checked it on sunday but was by myself and didnt venture out to far but there was a good 5 inches there. i didnt want to go far out because the lake was wide open last tuesday… thanks for any info
