April and may are my months for chasing pannies during open water, maybe because the fish with teeth are not really open much, but oh well.
Today was fun, fish were super spooky. Long rods and weighted corks were the deal. As far as you could throw em the faster the bite!
Every hour of sunlight is warming that water and its getting to go full throttle shortly from what I noticed of the gills wanting to take bigger baits!
Fatboys with fish frys took the bulk of the fish.
I picked up a few on the funky chicken BG baby shad trimmed down as well.
